AGL Energy have a really simple to read, two-page bill which explains all you need to know. So, check out our handy hints below for making sense of your AGL electricity bill.
The AGL Electricity Bill Basics
Page 1 is where you’ll see all of the really important stuff – the bill amount and the due date. These are the most important parts, but you’ve also got your reference number and the address you’re paying for. It’s important, so it’s always worth checking this just to make sure there’s no errors.
AGL Energy Charges
Page 2 of your AGL electricity bill goes into more detail about your account and how your AGL Rates work. Here you can the different tariffs you’re being charge if you’re on a time-of-use plan pr just your general usage if you have a single rate.
Check here for your daily supply charge, and you’ll also be able to see when your meter is going to be read next.
Next, Page 1 features a handy graph to see your average daily use over a lengthy historical period so you can see if your costs are going up or down. There’s also a graphic showing how your AGL electricity bill fits in with other similar sized households in your area.
You’ll also find a really clear, simple graphic showing your average daily cost and usage in comparison to the same billing period last year.
AGL Energy Payment Options
The payment options are listed at the bottom of Page 1 with all the relevant payment codes. It also serves as a payment slip for paying in person or by mail. Here’s the payment methods on your AGL electricity bill:
